Andres works with discarded objects, overlooked materials and everyday forms. His practice moves between sculpture, furniture and functional art.
Time spent travelling through South America continues to shape his eye for colour, improvisation and material reuse.
Growing up in Colombia, building and repairing things by hand was simply part of daily life — not a discipline, just how things got done. Years spent cooking shaped the same instinct: use what is there, waste nothing, give it time.

Objects and materials that have lost their original purpose become the starting point for new forms. Andres reworks what already exists, combining found pieces, colour and function into sculptural objects with a second life.
On television
Andres took part in the SRF series in which discarded objects are rebuilt into something new. In episode 2 his television cart goes up against another maker's dressing table.
